Jackson Criss were appointed Acquisition Agent for Majestic Wine across the UK at the end of 2020. Majestic Wine are going through a considerable growth phase, and Jackson Criss were brought in as a vital part of finding and delivering opportunities.

The JC team set out an acquisition strategy alongside an evolution in property requirements for Majestic, to help grow the estate inside the M25 and into other affluent target locations. Work was also done with the Majestic Estates Department to refine the acquisition reporting and delivery process, which has now established a strong team that has led to a number of successful acquisitions and store openings.

At the beginning of the instruction JC undertook a review of key target towns for Majestic, providing Site Acquisition Reports for these locations. The JC team members visited these priority locations and identified live and long term target sites, so are placed to react to availability both on and off market.

Recent openings show this developing strategy. Sites include opening in a Residential Development in Haywards Heath, a standalone unit in Stafford and a Retail Park adjacent to Waitrose in Preston.
