Andrew established Jackson Criss in 1990 and has advised both occupiers and landlords in the retail, F&B and leisure sectors for in excess of 35 years, to include expanding the retail portfolios of HMV, Waterstones and New Look.

Philip has over 30 years’ experience in the UK investment market, becoming an Equity Partner at Jackson Criss in 1994. Philip has transacted in excess of £3bn during his 30 years in investment and is regarded as one of the most experienced and active surveyors in his sector. He specialises in sales and acquisitions and strategic portfolio advice. Philip graduated from South Bank Polytechnic with a First Class Honours degree in Estate Management and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Jonathan has in excess of 25 years experience operating within the UK investment market, having transacted in excess of £5 billion over the period and is considered one of the most experienced professionals of his generation. Jonathan has been an Equity Partner at JC since 1996 and was instrumental in setting up the Investment Department. Jonathan acts for and has represented many of the UKs most established institutions, private equity houses, property companies and high net worth's in acquisitions, sales and forward funding arrangements.

Adam is a partner with over 20 years’ experience in the Capital working at the forefront of the market across all aspects of the retail and leisure sectors. He focuses primarily on High Street instructions within the uppermost UK Cities, Hotels, Food and Beverage and portfolio strategy.

Dougie joined Jackson Criss in 1997 and is an Equity Partner in the Lease Advisory Department and leads the team in London and Edinburgh. He advises a variety of clients in matters such as the re-gear of leases, lettings, lease renewal work, rent reviews and Investment due diligence throughout the United Kingdom. He specialises in retail, retail warehousing, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks and gyms. Dougie is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a qualified arbitrator and an independent expert and regularly receives appointments from the RICS.

His focus is on providing landlords and tenants with a clear appreciation of their asset’s value and how best to achieve that goal in a considered tactical framework. This advice stems from his many years of market experience and detailed knowledge of the arbitration, Court and PACT process.

Dan joined the Jackson Criss team in 2019, having established his career at a Northern Specialist Retail Agency Practice and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016. Dan has over 8 years of experience working on Shopping Centre Leasing and Strategic Asset Management for Major Schemes and dominant Market Town Centres, alongside leasing advice on High Street instructions in towns and cities across the UK. Acting for a range of Funds, Institutions and Property Companies Dan has delivered results for clients. Dan has also worked with a range of prominent retail brands in assisting in the development of their property portfolios.

David joined Jackson Criss in 1993 from Grosvenor Estate and has over 35 years’ experience dealing with lease renewals, lease restructures and rent reviews for owners and occupiers as well as handling agency matters. He acts on shopping centres and high streets throughout the UK and has handled many trophy buildings. If unable to resolve matters by negotiation, David deals with expert witness work before Arbitrator / Expert / Court, PACT.
Liaising with the investment team in preparing assets for sale and due diligence on purchases is a key focus.

Jacob started his career here at Jackson Criss, at the start of 2022 having completed his BSc Real Estate Degree and is now working within the agency team. His primary day to day job is working with a number of retained clients, to help them acquire/retain sites as well as working alongside landlords to find them potential tenants.

Joe started his career in the Lidl property team, before joining the retail agency team at Jackson Criss in January 2025. His primary day to day job is working with a number of retained clients, to help them acquire/retain sites as well as working alongside landlords to find them potential tenants. Joe will also be working towards his APC.

Jordan joined Jackson Criss as a maternity cover in 2021. Her vibrant energy quickly became an asset to the office, leading her to stay on and focus on the temporary vacancies within our clients’ portfolios. She has now become the Office Manager, continuing to inspire and lead the team with her enthusiasm and dedication, while also supporting the wider team.

Jerry joined Jackson Criss in 2019 and works as PA to Philip Hay, John Boissier and provides administrative support for the wider agency team, including switchboard, typing of reports, updating the company website and property portals, AML legislation and IT assistance.

Jo has been part of the Jackson Criss team for 15 years as their Partnership Accountant, taking care of the whole finance function from day to day Book-Keeping through to Management Accounts, as well as producing timely reports for the partners and agents. Also administering the monthly payroll and various filing obligations to HMRC and Companies House.

John Boissier , MRICS , served as an Equity Partner of Jackson Criss for the years 1996-2021, retiring from the partnership to be a strategic consultant to the practice. Over the years he has specialised in the UK High Street and Shopping Centre Investment markets, acting for UK Institutions , private equity and property companies .

Rhodri started his career at Robert Irving Burns before joining the Jackson Criss Investment team in January 2023. His focus will be on advising clients with their investment acquisition and disposal requirements across the UK. Rhodri holds MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading and will also be working towards completing his APC.
